These are great tips. One thing I do, similar to your #5, is to envision someone you really admire, and how they would handle the situation (an actor, family member, whoever), then sort of pretend to BE that person. It’s a little acting on your part, but it really helps me. I tend to be quite shy, but have gotten much better over the years.
A couple of books that might help are “Feel the Fear (And Do It Anyway)” by Susan J. Jeffers. Also, Larry King wrote a book years ago called “How to Talk to Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere” that I really liked.
